Sitting on the edge of Como House and Gardens, the South Yarra apartment is an exercise in capitalising on the existing mid-century details in the building originally designed by Moore & Hammond, while providing amenity for the occupants.
The existing volume has been opened further to provide framed views of the leafy surrounds. A new kitchen and bathroom provides increased functionality with careful consideration given to materiality that echoes the apartment’s mid century origins.
